Affordable Frequent Trips to Europe

So you want to frequently fly to Europe at an affordable price? Flexibility is the answer to your question.

First of all, I know many of us are not from California or New York but I will say if you are trying to save a few thousand bucks you will figure out a way to get to JFK Airport, or LAX. I have found tickets ranging from $132-$500 round trip DIRECT flights to Copenhagen, Denmark, Stockholm, Sweden, and Rome, Italy- just to name a few. AND NO, Monday and Thursdays are not the best days to travel, it really just varies on the month and how many people have decided to travel for that specific month. Yes travel sites like to use cookies in order to make you think the price went up on a specific flight if you didn’t purchase it the first time you looked at it. But more often then not the site is just trying to scare you into purchasing.

I have always been able to find $60 flights from DFW to LAX via Expedia.
So that is what I use to book a flight there, yes sometimes I create my own connections!

Log onto the site and click the country you live in
Next, in the box “Your favourite airport” insert Los Angeles (LAX)
in the “Fly to” box insert Copenhagen (CPH)

Return is already marked for us

THE MOST IMPORTANT step of all is underneath adults,
There is a button you need to click that says low fare calendar
This is pivotal in order to find the cheapest flights possible.

On the Dates area makes sure you put the farthest month you are willing to travel so that you can look through as many dates as possible

Flexibility is the key to getting the best deals on flights. Dec. 3 departure is $180.90 and if you are able to return on Jan. 12 returning ticket is $240.80

Next on the bottom right hand side click show flight departure, which will then prompt you to choose the times and where your connections will be (for this specific flight it is a direct flight which lasts 10 hours and 50 min) This will also prompt you to choose the type of cabin you will be flying in, as follows-

LOWFARE (which is the cheapest ticket- some will include a bag or two while sometimes it will cost $50 extra at check-in – make sure to read the fine print- This does not include a meal, but like I have stated previously, this is the cheapest flight option you can possibly find, so make sure before departing from LA you have given yourself enough time to eat and grab some snacks for the flight after being checked in.

Remember to pack extremely light, not only will you be shopping while travelling but you will also be transporting your luggage all over the airport. Trust me when I say not only is it cheaper to pack lighter, but it’s a lot less of a hassle.

LOWFARE+ For an additional $90 extra you can choose to include your checked baggage, as well as a Nice&Tasty Menu and seat reservation.

Of course there are those $2000+ premium tickets, but who wants to throw down that type of cash when your venturing to the other side of the world, save it for your trip!!

After making your choices, you are then able to book your reservation! This specific flight roundtrip including taxes would be $421.70

With Norwegian you are also able to fly Domestic flights throughout Europe for as little as $30 I urge you to play around with the site and check bookings frequently.

This is my favorite booking website, however I will discuss a few other great traveling services in future posts. I wanted to make everyone aware of Norwegian before introducing you to any other website, because in my opinion, this offers the Best prices to anywhere in the World. I will explain how to compare travel websites, how to know you are getting the best deal possible, how and where to lodge for the best prices, I will discuss the Metro, the Train, and advantages/disadvantages of traveling by car- as well as low cost lodging, plus more…

Using the website Norwegian, are you able to pick which airline you prefer to fly with (let’s say southwest) or is Norwegian the Arline specifically?

Renae, Norwegian is the airline that you will be flying with. If you google them you will notice they have great ratings as well, which is why you are only able to fly from certain cities currently. When you login with your country scroll down and you can also see current deals. I hope this helps 🙂

Hi Audrey! Currently, Norwegian airline does not fly through Canada. However New York does! I’m sure soon enough it will spread to Canada, however if you can fly from Montreal to New York, and use the airline that way it’s totally worth it.
